Creative Identity

I'm a hip hop and R&B producer, mixing engineer, and vocal recording specialist creating polished, contemporary sounds that blend technical precision with artistic vision. Working across Pro Tools, Ableton Live, and Logic Pro, I bring versatility to every stage of production—from beat creation and arrangement to vocal tracking and final mix. My approach centers on capturing authentic performances while crafting sonically rich productions that meet today's industry standards. I specialize in sample-based beat production, building full songs from the ground up, and creating immersive soundscapes across melodic trap, neo-soul, and alternative R&B. Whether developing beats from scratch, shaping vocal textures, or bringing cohesion to a final mix, I focus on delivering professional results that serve the artist's vision and connect with listeners. I'm seeking opportunities with forward-thinking agencies and creative teams where I can contribute my production and engineering skills to high-quality projects and collaborate with artists pushing the boundaries of hip hop and R&B.

Specialties

I excel in sample-based beat production, transforming raw samples into cohesive, emotionally resonant instrumentals that blend nostalgia with contemporary edge. My strength lies in creating full songs from the ground up—handling every element from initial concept and beat construction through vocal production and final mix to deliver complete, release-ready tracks. My sonic palette gravitates toward melodic trap, neo-soul, and alternative R&B, where I craft atmospheric, layered productions that balance hard-hitting rhythm with melodic depth and soul. Whether I'm flipping obscure samples into fresh arrangements, building lush chord progressions, or sculpting vocal performances that sit perfectly in the mix, I bring a holistic approach that serves the song's emotional core while maintaining the technical polish today's industry demands.

Tools & Workflow

I work fluidly across industry-standard DAWs—Pro Tools, Ableton Live, and Logic Pro—leveraging each platform's strengths to maximize creative and technical results. Pro Tools serves as my foundation for precise vocal tracking, editing, and mixing with professional-grade clarity. Ableton Live powers my beat production and sample manipulation, offering intuitive workflow for chopping, warping, and arranging samples into dynamic compositions. Logic Pro rounds out my toolkit for MIDI production, virtual instrumentation, and additional mixing capabilities.
My hardware chain features dual Universal Audio Apollo X6 interfaces for pristine conversion and UAD processing power, complemented by a world-class outboard processing suite: Distressor EL8-X and Smart Research C1 for surgical dynamic control, Chandler Limited Germanium Compressor and dual Heritage Audio BritStrips for rich analog color, Audioscape G Series Compressor and Looptrotter SA2rate2 for musical saturation and glue, and Lexicon MX200 for professional reverb processing. This high-end signal path ensures every vocal and instrument passes through premium analog circuitry.
For production and performance, I utilize a few MPC Live 2s alongside multiple MIDI keyboards, providing tactile, hands-on beat creation and sampling workflow that bridges the gap between classic hip hop production traditions and modern capabilities.
My plugin arsenal is extensive and versatile, spanning premium tools from FabFilter, Soundtoys, UAD, and SSL for surgical EQ and dynamic control; Valhalla, Lexicon, and Eventide for spatial design and time-based effects; Antares Auto-Tune, Melodyne, and iZotope for vocal refinement and correction; Decapitator, RC-20, and various tape emulations for analog warmth and character; and Serum, Roland Cloud, and KORG for synthesis and sampling. This deep plugin library allows me to shape any sound with precision and creativity.
This multi-platform fluency and comprehensive hybrid setup allows me to adapt to any project requirement, collaborate seamlessly with other producers and engineers, and maintain flexibility throughout the production process—from initial idea capture to polished final delivery.

Why Audio?

It started with E. 1999 Eternal. I was 12 years old, living with my mom, when Bone Thugs-n-Harmony's masterpiece rewired how I heard music. The production, the harmonies, the vibe—it all hit differently. I knew I wanted to create music like that, but I had no idea how.
Summer of 2000, I figured it out. An old tower PC, FL Studio 2, generic computer monitors, and the headphones from my portable CD player—that was my first studio. No outboard gear, no plugins, just sounds I hunted down on the early internet, which was brand new territory itself. Me and my friends taught ourselves, relying on common sense, trial and error, and whatever scraps of knowledge we could find online. I studied the architects: Bangladesh, Dr. Dre, Scott Storch, The Neptunes, Mannie Fresh, Swizz Beatz, Just Blaze, Rodney Jerkins. Their innovation became my curriculum. Every beat I made was an education—learning to sample, arrange, and mix by doing it over and over until something clicked.
From that humble bedroom setup to the professional studio I own today, what drives me hasn't changed: a pure love of audio in all forms. The craft has evolved, the tools have upgraded, but the obsession that started with a 12-year-old kid pressing play on a CD remains the foundation of everything I create.

Mixing & Mastering Approach:

I maintain a clear separation between production and mixing, treating each as its own distinct phase with focused attention. My workflow is methodical and genre-informed, though I typically begin with drums as the rhythmic foundation, then layer in instruments, and finally integrate vocals to complete the sonic picture.

Mixing Process:

Every mix starts with comprehensive gain staging across all elements—establishing proper levels before any processing ensures headroom and prevents unnecessary makeup gain down the line. From there, I apply corrective and creative EQ where needed, addressing frequency imbalances and carving space for each element to exist without competition. I organize elements into logical groups for cohesive bus processing, applying compression to glue related sounds together while maintaining their individual character. Parallel processing techniques add weight and impact where appropriate without sacrificing dynamics or clarity.

Low-End Philosophy:

In hip hop and R&B, the low end is sacred. My approach centers on frequency clarity—I meticulously EQ competing elements to eliminate unwanted low frequencies, ensuring the kick and bass occupy their space without muddiness or masking. This subtractive approach creates powerful, focused low end that translates across all playback systems.

Vocal Treatment:

My vocal chain follows a disciplined signal path: corrective EQ first to address problem frequencies and enhance presence, followed by compression for consistency and control, then de-essing to tame harsh sibilance. Auto-Tune is applied only when requested by the artist or when pitch correction serves the creative vision—never as a default. The goal is always natural, polished vocals that sit perfectly in the mix while retaining emotional authenticity.
